You loved me even when I was not loving myself

You were my strength, my weakness.
You loved me from the start,
You cared for me and shared your last morsel with me.
Your love is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
You were my present in my ups and downs, you gave me every reason to try,
You shared with me in my dreams, and passions and
You encouraged me to be the best version of myself.
You said you believed in me, I believed in you too!
You were my happiness, my soul, my heartbeat

I gave you my trust and you shattered it.
As the blue stars shiver around the glowing moon,
I write the saddest lines about you tonight,
You left me in the middle of our journey,
I headed towards the four cardinal points but I met no one because you were the only one in my world.
You were my everything but you left me with nothing.

Now you are my heartache, my pain,
The reason for my tears
I want to cry but I no longer have any more tears.

You taught me everything I had to know,
What you never taught me was how to forget you, George,
It is so difficult for me remembering to forget you.
