Do you know where you come from? And if you do, do you cherish it?

I am a proud Ghanaian.

I see other countries and I recognize how different and more sophisticated they seem to be but I am glad that I am a Ghanaian.

Ghana is not for a chosen few. No! Ghana is for all of us. So why then do we stand at the sideline and talk about our country as if we are not part of it?

We dispose of rubbish anyhow and complain our country is dirty.

We do not want to play any role in developing it.

This is my home and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

It's that time of the year again when we decide who leads us.

Do we vote because we are hungry? Do we vote because we have been motivated financially by a political party? Do we vote because we follow blindly?

Do we vote because we have thought it through or just because it's our right?

Would you hurt your brother because he belongs to another political party?

No dear! This is the time to show how much we love and appreciate our country.

Let's vote with a purpose! Not just any purpose, but a worthy one as such!

Let's embrace our diversity and continue with the peace here.

I need you alive, Ghana needs you alive. We all need each other........

Let's vote in peace.
