Cut them off!! If someone isn't adding to your life cut them off!! If someone isn't making a positive impact cut them off!! Unfortunately these and many more are the kinds of slogans many motivational speakers chant. In as much as much as they might have a point I have always thought it's selfish. To make everything about us. A lot of souls have been lonely and lost wandering in darkness. They have adapted coping mechanisms to mask their pain, to mask their vulnerability so they don't look weak. We feign strength so we won't be judged , so we won't be preyed on. A lot of people live in darkness. Instead of shunning them and pushing them way further into the darkness we could be that Ray of light that guides them out of the tunnel..
