In the shadows of your spotlight ,

Some souls crave roles, a desperate engage.

Their whispers loud, a bid for fame,

A fleeting glance to claim a moment.

They dance in darkness, seeking the floor,

Their antics wild, spectators watch.

Yet in your narrative, they're just a line,

A footnote in the story that's yours.

They are hunger for attention, filled their stomach,

A craving for relevance, a desperate thrill.

They weave a web of drama ,

Hoping to snag a starring role in your life.

But you, the author, know the truth they hide,

Their scenes are scripted, their roles denied.

They're mere supporting actors, not the lead,

Their drama's just a sideshow, a distraction indeed.

In your story, they're just a minor part,

Not the main character.

They yearn for more, for stardom's glow,

But you're the one who writes the script, do you know?

Their tantrums and outbursts, a desperate cry,

A plea for notice, longing to apply.

For meaning and purpose, a sense of place,

But you're the one who holds the narrative's pace.

They're chasing shadows of fame,

A reflection of validation, a hollow claim.

Their worth is measured by your gaze alone,

A glance, for a moment of your throne.

Sometimes when people are not the main character in your story,

They try to be seen so they cause a scene.
