Starting the naughty notes,
Where the first taste of desire begins.
Like the soft layers of tiramisu,
Sweet ladyfingers soaking deep
In emotions I can not hide,
And the rich mascarpone
Blending sweetness with the quiet ache of longing.
Enough of the rose-bud lips,
That part like a trembling river.
When they open, I either drown
Or let myself be carried away.
Pick me up, for I have indulged
In a forbidden dessert.
Tiramisu paired with vin santo,
And now my heart whispers,
“Oops… don’t touch my tiramisu.”
Fair lady, may I sing of your flowers?
Evening stars gather at your feet
And turn my restless spirit calm.
Take me home, let me lay my head,
And bless me with a kiss for sleep.
Something falls...not the stars,
But the warm cream of longing,
Melting slowly like tiramisu left in gentle hands.
For the taste of sweetness and quiet power,
I ordered the tiramisu.
Its layers fascinate me,
Each one delicate,
Cut cleanly with knives,
Dusted with cocoa
Like secrets hidden beneath soft shadows of the forest.
When my eyes rested on it,
I praised the chef in silence.
Ashamed of the heart
That kept its admiration locked away.
But now I speak boldly:
All hail the creator
Of my first tiramisu
That ever stirred my soul.
