Everyone can smell it, I can smell it too
The dry air passing through my nose
Foggy skies and dust all around
My lips already cracking, dryness unbound
My skin craves a good nutrient's touch
Where is the Shea butter, our trusted clutch?
The Queen of the season, showcase your glory
Even though you're used every day, it's time to shine with elegance
Harmattan our winter
Water our dry throat and freeze our skins
Warms our coldness and smooth the roughness
Never stop us from going out or coming in
Childhood memories of ashy legs and dry lips
The big size Shea butter our grandmas would dip
In the old days, they knew best
I can smell the old Christmas in the new generation's fest
Fire crackers make waves, Christmas is here
Thank you, Harmattan, for helping us celebrate our own winter
Merry Christmas and a happy new year,
Cheers to the beginning of a new year and a good season!
