HEAL THE WORLD

From a distance, I saw the world in a weak stance, and as I looked at her countenance, her sunny smile had turned into cloudy sadness which began to pour down rainy drops of tears; and she's been unhappy for soo many years, because the people who dwell within her sphere, began to possess a heart filled with pain, hatred and fear. This made her began to feel sick but her people showed no care... 

As a tear slowly glided without traffic down from her eyes to her smooth cheeks, she remembered the purpose of her existence, how she was made to be a temporal home; space and place humanity can feel safe to pursue and fulfil their God-given purpose, dreams and visions.

Gone are the good bright days, been under the canopy of this world was a harmonious place, where we woke up each day with love and affection in our hearts, and joy lighting up our face. The day was full of fun and nice, filled with delights, peace and dreams, that were the seal of our nights.

But it won't be the same, there is a change in-game

Darkness starts to set in, the bright world has turned into inked blackness, concrete and thick

Now, I see the evil I didn't see past before

Darkness bashing in like a thief who's no time to knock on the door! 

We have touched the hem of the garments of evil, so the love and affection in our hearts towards human beings has stopped flowing 

Our hearts are now void of love and care

And Love for material things over human lives had begun to flare 

Human beings are supposed to love each other and use things 

But, unfortunately, we now love things and use people

A man sees his fellow brother succeeding and rising like the incense of Abel

And his heart begins to smoke up with hatred and pain like Cain

Been Intimidated by his shine, tends to take his brother's life

For he has no patience to wait for his season and time

We now live in a world, Where we claim to have tasted the fruit of civilisation from the tree of education; so the eyes of our minds are open, we know things better. 

But no! What do we see, the effect, is just like man, tasting the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden.

We now regard a fellow human as a human being by their race, colour and creed

We bicker and fight over gender inequality 

The rights of people are being curtailed as long as one doesn't belong to a certain political party 

We are responsible for not making this world a better place to stay

Let's stop suffocating the world with our deeds,

For our ill actions have the power to affect the life and future of our seeds; and children 

Instead, let's understand that equality is equated us as human beings and every God-given purpose, dream and vision can only be fulfilled while in this world 

So not making it a better place brings us no glory but to our jeopardy! 

Let's choose to love each other despite our colour 

Let's choose to love each other despite our creed

Let's choose to love each other despite our race

And together we can make this world a better place

Together, we can heal the world!
