ON OUR WAY TO HEAVEN

We are desperate to become good Christians that we have forgotten how to be decent human beings.
We are willing to offer tangible sacrifices to our object of worship that we forget to feed the poor.
We are so much in haste to build temples for a God who has the whole earth as his abode and we forget to shelter the homeless.
We dress up for churches and forget to cloth the poor
We cherish giving money in churches than giving to the destitute.
We preach godliness and practice corruption..
We fight against immorality and forget about cleaning our hearts.
We decorate our temples with flowers and burn incense to keep them fresh but we forget to fill our society with the fragrance of kindness and love.
We go to our temple to hail and lift our God up high but forget to lift up the spirit of our fellow human beings who are downtrodden – instead, we crush them.
We go to our temple to bow down our heads in prayer but we forget to bow in humility to our fellow men.
We ask God for forgiveness but harbor resentment in our hearts.
We light up candles in our temples and darken our hearts with cruelty and hatred.
Let’s get back to being human again, we lost it on our way to heaven
