Now I know Love is For the Strong

I was happy until I fell in love. I thought and believed I was a strong woman until I fell in love 🥺 .

Love is believed to be a beautiful thing especially with the right partner but little did I know that you can be with someone you feel right with and the beauty of love will be lost.

I love him, and he claims to love me too but he is with someone else; a different lady,  and I'm sure he tells her he loves her. This same "love" he claims he has for me. Hmmm!

This is where the "ugliness of love starts". You wish to live with this person, but he always gives you reasons to quit. Love is indeed for the strong!.

The heartache, the excessive thinking, the night cries when you know very well he is with a different lady, and yet, you can't do anything about it. He answers her call when he is with you but he misses your call when he is with her. Hmm!

And when you are alone, it is heartbreaking when the struck of midnight brings tears to your eyes. Another day births and you are still not with him.  It's something you can not easily control. Love is indeed for the strong!

Sometimes you try to act like everything is fine, you want to show your smiles as much as possible but before you realize, tears show up.

I have come to realise one thing; Love is for the strong!

Irrespective of your gender, career, and even the power you hold, the issues of love can bring out the weakness in you.

You will search for answers and comprehension but hey, I guess it's true then,

The heart only understands it's own dialect, and the message remains, "Love is for the Strong"
