His Eminence Alhaji Abdulai Mahamadu III, chief of the Mion Traditional Area has praised the Akufo-Addo Government for having the people of Ghana at heart on Thursday, September 3. 

He made this declaration when the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who was about to start a 10-day working visit to the five northern regions paid him a courtesy call. Mion Abdulai Mahamadu praised the Government for policies such as the Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, among others. He also praised the approach employed by the Akufo-Addo Government in handling the pandemic. He stated that “I am a chief and without a political inclination, permit me to say that the NPP Government's policies and programs are truly people-centred.”

The Akufo-Addo Government was also acknowledged of helping the people of Dagbon to have a peaceful town devoid of conflicts and chaos. He entreated the people of Dagbon in his speech to retain the Akufo-Addo Government, so as to fulfil all promises for the people of the Republic of Ghana.
