Throughout the years she lived, she was clothed in loneliness.
She journeyed on a shuddering thought and lost her mind on countless occasions because she went searching for Love where there was none.
At last, she was told lies too good to be true and with her last emotional currency, she bought nothing but misery.
She carried and cared for his heart.
She protected it with every strength she had.
Hers needed carrying and caring too yet he watched on blindly.
She could lay down her life for him. And yet he couldn't even cough for her.
She was trapped in deceits, thinking she found what she eagerly yearned for.
All these while, she was the provider, he was the trustee and another she somewhere was the beneficiary.
When she found out, she realised the reality in Akwoaboah's song "Love is Unfair".
That betrayal cuts through her heart like a knife through bread.
Since then, she locked the key to her heart and promised never to fall in Love again.

Akwaboah's song "Love is Unfair" keeps playing in my head after reading this piece from you. "I'm in love with somebody, somebody too loves someone else" but very soon I know someone will sing me "Posti-me" and "Gangsta-lovin" (two other Akwaboah songs on love issues.)

Very well said. Love is Unfair though by nevertheless when the Mr or Mrs right comes your way, it's always BEAUTIFUL to share that common Love. That's why you shouldn't giving searching cause "Nothing is Really Over Until the Moment You Stop Trying"💝💞🤗
