Backyard Farming in recent times has been embraced by many Ghanaians. Backyard Farming is known for its health benefits since everything produced is natural. Aside from its health benefits, it is also a way of keeping oneself active all the time. In ancient times, people possessed farms and the constant work on the farms keeps them active and healthy. The bending, tilling, digging, uprooting and harvesting are all forms of keeping oneself active. Also, it serves a great benefit to the Agric Sector, due to its reduction of pressure on foods cultivated by the Agric Sector. The Agric Sector ought to help train more Ghanaians, get them seeds and soil to start and continue this good activity.
